Single-stage compressor, advanced and reliable
The York single-stage compressor has fewer moving parts, simple and efficient design, and its long working life has been proven in many applications. The lightweight, high-strength aluminum impeller adopts backward curved blades, which is very efficient. The wing-shaped guide vane reduces the disturbance of the air flow, so that the partial load can maintain high-efficiency performance. The compressor can be unloaded smoothly from 100% to the lowest load.
Open motor, safe and reliable

After the closed motor is burnt, it will cause catastrophic damage to the chiller. The entire unit must be thoroughly cleaned and the refrigerant must be replaced before it can be used. York YK centrifugal chiller adopts air-cooled motor to avoid this danger. The refrigerant does not come into contact with the motor at all, avoiding pollution to other parts of the chiller.
Full use of low-temperature cooling water, significant energy saving

Energy saving requirements under actual load conditions, the unit can make full use of the cooling water as low as 12.8℃, and obtain obvious energy saving effect, unlike some units that need to artificially control the water temperature at 21-24℃.
High-efficiency heat exchanger, excellent performance
The heat exchanger adopts the latest high-efficiency heat exchange copper tube, which makes the heat transfer efficiency best and has a compact structure. The water side and the refrigerant side enhance heat transfer, reducing unit energy consumption and pipe fouling.
Compact fouling, easy to install

The design of the unit is precise and compact, which greatly reduces the footprint of the machine room. Only a few takeovers and wiring are required during installation, which saves installation costs.
Superior part load performance, significantly reducing operating costs
When choosing a chiller, it should be noted that it should not only meet the design requirements of full load, but also operate effectively at lower loads and when the water temperature of the cooling tower is low.

Heat recovery application
Heat recovery can be used in systems that require simultaneous cooling and heating, using part or all of the heat rejection of the vapor compression refrigeration system to improve the energy efficiency of the entire system. Different from the heat pump unit whose main purpose is heating, the heat recovery unit uses the by-product of cooling operation-heat rejection to provide hot water under the premise of satisfying the cooling load. Since the hot water circuit and the cooling water circuit use separate water circuits in most applications, the YK heat recovery unit condenser also uses two separate water circuit designs.
The heat recovery unit turns the wasted heat energy into usable hot water, which is widely used in:
Pre-heating hot water in hotels or hospitals for bathing, swimming, kitchens, etc.;
Comfortable heating;
Reheat the air;
Preheating of boiler make-up water or process hot water.
