Fundamental
The impeller of the canned motor pump and the rotor of the motor are fixed on the same shaft. The rotor and the stator are separated by a shielding sleeve. The rotor runs in the conveyed medium, and its power is transmitted to the rotor through the stator magnetic field.
The conveyed medium flows into the pump body from the pump inlet, and the pressure is boosted by the rotation of the impeller, and most of the medium is discharged from the pump outlet. A part of the medium is introduced into the motor, first lubricates the front bearing, then flows through the gap between the stator and the rotor to cool the motor, then lubricates the rear bearing, and finally enters the central through hole of the rotor shaft from the tail back to the pump inlet.
