In a unique environment, the copper content in lithium bromide solution reaches saturation and precipitates, causing ion displacement on the surface of the steel plate and ultimately forming electroplating phenomenon.

Physical formation:
After being corroded by Fe3+on the copper surface, some copper ions become compatible with each other, forming smaller copper particles. Due to the relatively light weight of copper particles, when a large number of copper particles are suspended on the surface of the solution, they aggregate with each other to form a copper surface. After the operation of the unit stops, the copper surface settles at the bottom of the unit, forming a thinner copper skin.
The harm of internal cavity corrosion to the unit:
Lithium bromide solution:
1】 The products generated by corrosion will decrease the cleanliness of lithium bromide solution, increase the viscosity of the solution, and affect the circulation of the unit solution;
2】 The lithium bromide solution has a high impurity content, which can generate a large number of bubbles when heated and boiled in the high-temperature generator, causing abnormal liquid level control of the unit;

The hazards of corrosion products to the interior of the unit:
1】 Corrosion products can block heat exchangers and filter screens of shielded pumps, accelerating the wear of their internal bearings;
2】 Corrosion products can block the spray system, causing obstruction to the operation of the unit's spray system;
3】 There are many impurities in the solution, which will continuously wear down the copper tube during the circulation process, affecting its service life.
