Maintenance of centrifugal chillers
During the recent maintenance of the three-stage centrifugal refrigeration unit by the Production Support Department, it was discovered during the disassembly and inspection of the core components that the cause of the air conditioning unit malfunction was due to the imbalance of the oil pressure in the cooling and lubrication system. After confirming that the external related components and pipeline system were in good condition, we disassembled and inspected the oil tank, oil pump, compressor bearings, and other parts to identify their fault points. Throughout the dismantling process, a dedicated person was arranged to take photos, leave a record, and make detailed records of the installation position, direction, size, and sealing condition of each component. During the dismantling inspection, it was found that the front bearing of the compressor rotor bearing was dry, with foreign objects and signs of wear. After confirming the model and size, we replaced it. Throughout the entire reset installation process, we reverse the disassembly records and strictly follow the standards for resetting. In the testing stage after installation, due to the excessive power of the compressor itself, we adopted the principle of installing a small electric motor and using a coaxial coupling to drive the compressor to rotate. Finally, when the compressor speed reached 800r/min, the oil pressure remained normal and stable. The repair work of this unit has accumulated valuable experience for us. The entire repair process has a reasonable division of labor, rigorous and pragmatic details, and a lot of disassembly has been done throughout the entire process/Through extensive practice and experimentation, as well as the joint efforts of the team, we have successfully completed the repair work of the three-stage centrifugal refrigeration unit, including the installation of fixtures, selection of sealing gaskets, and selection of sealants!
