Causes of Centrifugal Compressor Surge
Since the centrifugal compressor is a speed compressor, the phenomenon of "surging" will occur when the partial load is small.
As shown in the figure, the speed V at the outlet of the centrifugal compressor can be decomposed into a tangential speed Vt and a radial speed VR. The tangential speed Vt depends on the diameter of the impeller and the speed of the impeller, and the radial speed is proportional to the flow of refrigerant. For example, when the angle between the speed V and the tangential speed Vt is reduced to a certain value, the compressor gas cannot be pressed out.
Cooling capacity under standard conditions: the chilled water inlet temperature is 12°C, the chilled water inlet temperature is 32°C, and the cooling water outlet temperature is 37°C.
