How Refrigeration Works
The main body consists of a generator and a lower body composed of absorption: condenser, upper body of the generator set; high pressure generator, low temperature exchanger, high temperature heat exchanger, condensate heat exchanger, solution pump, refrigerant pump, air extraction system, etc. composition. The main body is in a vacuum state when the refrigerator is working
In the evaporator, the low-temperature refrigerant water of the condenser absorbs the heat of the cold water from the user, so that the temperature of the cold water is reduced: at the same time, the refrigerant water evaporates into refrigerant vapor. The lithium bromide solution in the absorber absorbs the cold steam in the evaporator to dilute the solution.
Under the action of the solution pump, the dilute solution is heated by the high and low temperature interchanger, and finally sent to the high pressure generator for heating.
In the high-pressure generator, the dilute solution is heated by the high-temperature steam to become a high-temperature intermediate solution; at the same time, a large amount of high-temperature refrigerant steam is generated.
After the intermediate solution exchanges heat with the dilute solution in the absorber through the high-temperature exchanger, it cools down and enters the low-pressure generator, and is further heated and concentrated by the high-temperature refrigerant steam from the high-pressure generator to become a concentrated solution. The concentrated solution then exchanges heat with the low-temperature dilute solution in the absorber through low-temperature exchange, and finally enters the absorber.
At the same time, the refrigerant vapor in the low-pressure generator releases heat and becomes high-temperature refrigerant water and the generated cold vapor enters the condenser to be cooled and become low-temperature refrigerant water.
The refrigerant water enters the evaporator after being throttled by the pressure drop, thus completing a cycle.

Special valves are added at both ends of the inlet and outlet of the solution pump, so that the solution pump can be easily isolated from the host. Without releasing the solution, maintenance can be carried out quickly.
Even if the solution pump, which is the only operating component of the absorption chiller, fails, it can be repaired quickly. A major defect in the central air-conditioning industry has been avoided: when a unit failure occurs, the chiller needs to wait a long time for maintenance.

Double control of software and hardware to completely prevent the occurrence of crystallization
On the hardware, the low-temperature dilute solution of the absorber is heated by the low-temperature and high-temperature concentrated solution, and the crystallization problem can be solved in the early stage of crystallization.
The microcomputer on the software monitors the temperature, pressure and other parameters of the solution at any time, and calculates the concentration of the solution at any time through the internally set program. If the calculated concentration exceeds the set warning concentration, the microcomputer quickly reduces the gas input. Even when there is a sudden change, it can react quickly and fundamentally pay for the occurrence of crystallization.
How to operate bromine chillers correctly in daily work

In recent years, the automation control level of bromine chillers has further improved. Most of the equipment has automatic circulation refrigeration function, and there is no need for 24-hour dedicated personnel to provide special care. Therefore, the basic operation and maintenance of the unit is particularly important. For on-site operation and maintenance personnel, in addition to routine tasks such as inspection and meter reading, the daily work of the unit mainly involves three operations: switching on/off, vacuuming, and refrigerant purification

Nowadays, the unit basically starts and stops with one click, which is very convenient. During the startup and shutdown process, it is mainly necessary to grasp the start and stop sequence of external systems.

2. Vacuum pumping

The bromine cooler is usually in a sealed negative pressure state, and the operator must take the vacuum pumping operation seriously. When manually pumping air for the unit, first start the vacuum pump on the unit operation panel, and then confirm the operating status of the vacuum pump and check the oil level. After confirming that there are no errors, first open the main suction valve, confirm the vacuum pump's suction capacity through the mercury pressure gauge reading, and then open the upper suction valve for suction.
After the exhaust is completed, close all exhaust valves first, then shut down the vacuum pump, and timely drain the water inside the pump after the vacuum pump body returns to normal temperature.


3. Refrigerant purification

The refrigerant in the bromine cooler is refrigerant water. The condenser and evaporator are both clean refrigerants, and once the refrigerant water is mixed with lithium bromide solution, refrigerant purification is required. This is a common operation that requires opening and closing the refrigerant bypass valve between the evaporator and the absorber while the refrigerator is running.
When the cold water outlet temperature of the refrigerator is low during high load operation, the refrigerant bypass valve can be opened for 1-2 turns, and excessive opening can easily cause crystallization. When the refrigeration machine is running at low load, the refrigerant bypass valve can be fully opened to quickly bypass the refrigerant. But at this point, it is also important to note that when the evaporator water level bottoms out or the refrigerant pump is empty, the bypass valve should be closed in a timely manner to avoid damage caused by the refrigerant pump idling.

Most of the above operations seem simple, but many users overlook details and make deviations in their daily operations.
Ultimately, various malfunctions occur in the refrigeration machine, and these daily operations are not difficult in themselves. What is important is the cultivation of operators and the standardization of operating behavior. Only by carefully implementing every detail can we ensure the safe operation of the unit at every moment.
