Cleaning the internal cavity of the chiller
Due to the corrosiveness of lithium bromide solution to metal materials and the use of energy enhancer---octanol, after the bromine cooler is used for a period of time, the inner cavity will rust and produce sticky mud, such as high and low temperature heat exchanger tubes. Layers and shells, generators, absorbers, and evaporator shells will form a layer of dirt, its main components are: Fe2O3, CuO and organic carbon compounds, etc. These dirt are usually solidified, and cleaning by solution is no longer helpful. At this time Chemical cleaning methods such as degreasing conversion and slime peeling should be adopted. In order to ensure thorough descaling, it is often necessary to maintain a certain cleaning temperature by heating. When there is a large piece of rust in the inner cavity, and it is accompanied by blockage of the absorber, evaporator nozzle or shower hole, chemical cleaning such as derusting and dredging the nozzle should also be carried out.
Due to the complex internal cavity process and the diversity of internal materials of the bromine cooler. Therefore, chemical cleaning should first be proficient in the internal structure and working process of the bromine cooler. The safety of the equipment should be fully considered when the reagent is selected, and the crystallization phenomenon should be avoided during operation. The reagent should be fully mixed and uniform, and the relevant data should be strictly tested. Practice has proved that after scientific chemical cleaning of the inner cavity, the refrigeration capacity of the unit can be restored to more than 90% under normal conditions. And in a long period of time, the cooling capacity will not decay due to the contamination of the inner cavity or the clogging of the nozzle.
It should be noted that the chemical cleaning of the inner cavity is done by water cleaning, and the solution remaining in the machine will be lost. Therefore, it should be taken out as much as possible, and the water should be flushed to no Br- before cleaning. Step operation, after descaling and cleaning, passivation pre-filming and other processes should be carried out to prevent the clean metal from corroding again.
In short, the cleaning of the inner cavity of bromine coolers is becoming more and more recognized by users. You must choose a practical construction plan based on your own equipment to achieve the desired effect.
