Bromine cooler is mainly composed of copper and iron. Due to the corrosion of the solution, its ions will dissolve into the solution. With the increase of running time, the dissolution of ions will increase, which will affect the normal operation of the bromine cooler. Therefore, the solution must be filtered, depending on the degree of turbidity of the solution.
1. Continuous filtering
A filter is connected between the auxiliary valve of dilute solution pump and the auxiliary valve of concentrated solution of bromine cooler. The filter element is molecular sieve and activated carbon. This method has a longer filtration time and more obvious effect.
2. External filtration
Put all the solution out of the machine, with a plastic bucket, and then filter with a filter, the effect is obvious. The time is short, but the workload is large, the operation is complex, and it is used in the overhaul of bromine cooler.
